My DA topic is Facing the future food crisis, what kinds of food will there be in the future?
I want to do this topic because unfavorable climatic factors have caused major grain-producing countries to reduce production and their export volume has dropped significantly. As the world’s major food exporter, Australia has suffered from arid climate for several consecutive years, and its wheat exports have dropped sharply. In 2007 alone, its exports fell by 4 million tons. In the same year, Ukrainian wheat exports also fell by 3 million tons. In addition, Bangladesh was hit by a typhoon, which reduced rice production by 3 million tons.
Technology is changing with each passing day, and human beings are good at dealing with big and small problems with new technology. The way of producing food today is not long, and it also causes great damage to the environment. Plant meat, test-tube meat, insects, etc. can indeed supplement human nutrition at a glance, but they seem to go further and further on the road of pursuing nature.

it is a very interesting topic. as we know now we owe it to the farmers now. As they produce and harvest various foods for us, and in recent years, technology as developed so much that we are having Biologically produced food, processed food, which seems to be harmful for humans in a way. But that is how they show technology developing and making business. The thought of food, how it will be in the future, is fascinating as that can show big advancement in the food industry.

Your pitch is unique as it is covered by very less people on the topic of biotechnology , the GM food, since It is a hot topic as people are looking for a secure supply of food , whether that is meat or vegetables would you be covering that? The business in this area is also huge. What kinds of food will be there in the future? etc
What you could talk about this topic is the harms and benefits of eating such, or about the stakeholders consumers, productions etc.

Like your idea very much! Humans need food, create food and destroy food at the same time. It is ridiculous. Maybe the price of food will be reverse from now then? Cheap test-tube food and expensive natural food?
From your presentation, I can see that you are having an interest in this topic. You have mentioned about nowadays situation and the future possibility of us to have food. You mention what will your DA topic about clearly. However, I cannot find what kind of content you are going to include. Are you going to list out the reason to cause this phenomenon? Or are you going to introduce what kind of future food we are going to have in the future? Will you mind drawing the frame that you are going to include in the DA? And I do not find any about your utility and methodology of your DA. It will be much better for you to mention deeply on these two. It will provide great help for me to have a better understanding of your planning.

This is the first time for me to hear about this topic and I think it is very interesting. As you mentioned, in one year, China’s exports have dropped by 4 million tons, which is a terrible number. After watching your video, I have a better understanding. Food is an integral part of being human, and you think of food as a 3D shape, which makes people feel very novel. But I have another question. Maybe the food in the future will be simple, so can humans accept it? Finally, I am looking forward to your new blog.

How do you plan to make your DA different than others, I would suggest that you use the style of presenting as a prophecy this style would get more attention of the audience you plan to engage and what type of audience are you trying to achieve your DA is missing that.
